The latest Global InfoAnalytics poll has placed a national chairman aspirant and former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu, at the top of the party’s contest, with a 10-point lead over former Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko.
The September 30 poll, based on the firm’s Committed Delegates Model, puts Mr Boadu at 48%, ahead of former Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko, who records 38%.
Former NPP National Chairman Paul Afoko follows with 12%, while former First Vice Chairman Sammy Crabbe records 2%, according to the poll.
The latest figures represent a different measurement from Global InfoAnalytics’ earlier surveys of the chairmanship contest.
Its September 2 poll, for example, had Mr Boadu on 23.3%, followed by Mr Agyarko on 17.7%, with 41.3% of respondents undecided.
The September 30 graphic also reports net favourability scores for the four candidates, with Boadu at +64, Agyarko at +58, Afoko at +45 and Crabbe at +39.
Global InfoAnalytics says the latest exercise used random probability sampling from the 16 regions and the 2026 NPP constituencies register. It also reports that the survey was conducted through Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviews (CATI), with a 98% confidence level and a ±1.34 percentage-point margin of error.
The poll comes ahead of the NPP’s national executive elections, scheduled for October 3, 2026. Previous polling has produced different levels of support for the candidates, highlighting the importance of the methodology and sample used in interpreting the various surveys.
